InterBulk’s Duisburg Terminal now fully operational

Further to our recent move of the Dusseldorf office in Duisburg, we are pleased to announce that our terminal is now fully operational.

InterBulk’s terminal is located at Ruhrort – Duisport. Duisport is by far Europe’s largest inland ports and our terminal is located within 500 meters to the DeCeTe and DUSS terminals (connected by private road). DeCeTe has a direct barge and rail shuttles to and from the container terminals in Rotterdam, Antwerp and Zeebrugge and has off-hire depots for all major shipping lines. The neighbouring DUSS rail terminal maintains rail services to many European destinations. Our terminal also has its own rail access.

The terminal is the largest within the InterBulk Group and totals more than 19,250 m2. At this area we have the possibility to store both dry bulk and tank containers (as long as they are non-hazardous and non marine pollutants). Additionally we have 6 electrical plug in points.

Our tipping platform can be used to transfer exported and imported dry bulk products from 20/30/40 ft containers to either road or rail vehicles applying the optimal transport mode.

Our Duisburg terminal offers a number of new alternatives for our existing customers and also new customers looking to import materials into the heart of Europe.
